Confusion

A whisper of the heart
Reveals secrets new and past
The water reflects what little is left
Of the hope that we shared from the start

A moment passes by
A moment to accept and deny
She opens her mouth but no sound does come out
And all we can do is cry
Tell me why

This interest sparks confusion
But it's really an illusion

The sun starts to descend
As the silence plays host to an uncertain end
It's as if the trees bow their leaves in some kind of respect
To the deep sense of defeat they both feel

And the memories roll back
But they've eliminated all the cracks
So it seems they were perfect together all the time
And now their afraid they wont find another love like this one provided

This interest sparks confusion
But it's really an illusion

A little bit for me, a little bit for you

Let's start it slow
Let's start it so slow
Don't want to rush it
Cos we know how fast it goes

If you want to grow this love back
A little bit for me
A little bit for you

Darling there are signs when I look straight into your eyes
Of missing me, yeah it intensifies
Everytime I risk that firing line

And if you want to grow this love back
A little bit for me
A little bit for you

I just can't believe it when you say that you don't need it
I know deep down you feel it
But you bottle it up so scared that I'll see it.
So you're up? So you're down? Afraid of messing me around?
Myself, I'm a merry-go-round
I'll keep us spinning
I'll keep us sound.

If you want to grow this love back
A little bit for me
A little bit for you

If you wan't to grow it back

Time is inspired

My ego already knows what it's supposed to know.
The truth's been told,
It's time for me to go.
Walking by myself conclusions conclude themselves.
The truth's been told,
It's time for me to go.

These early spring deliberations,
The air is cold and my hands are shaking.
Waiting for summer change is wearing me thin.
But we won't, we won't let you in.

Isn't time inspired? It slows down when you're feeling so tired.
And I know it's going to last for a while.
Because my ego already knows what it's supposed to know
The truth's been told it's time for me to go.

These early spring deliberations,
The air is cold and my hands are shaking.
Waiting for summer change is wearing me thin.
But we won't, we won't let you in.

Can't you just take feelings and make them break?
